International Scientific Manuscript Competition (ISMaC) 2024: A Resounding Success !
The International Scientific Manuscript Competition (ISMaC) 2024, held on July 29, 2024, was a significant event that brought together researchers, scholars, and professionals from various fields to share their groundbreaking research. Conducted virtually via Zoom, the event enabled a global audience to participate and engage with the presentations and discussions. The day began with a welcoming speech from the Head of Meira Visi Persada Foundation, who emphasized the critical role that scientific competitions play in advancing academic and research endeavors, setting an enthusiastic and anticipatory tone for the day.
The plenary sessions featured notable speakers who captivated the audience with their insightful presentations. Dr. Macaario G. Gayeta from the Philippines kicked off the session by discussing the impact of ICT use, the paradigm shift in business and technology, managing technology for interactive learning, and the concept of the digital classroom. Following him, Dr. Tina Amelia, SH., MH., CLA., CPCD., explored the integration and impacts of technology in the field of law, highlighting the evolving legal landscape. The final plenary speaker, Dr. Dani Kusuma, M.Pd., from Satya Wacana Christian University, delved into the applications of AI technology in education, sparking thought-provoking discussions on the future of learning.
The core of the event was the paper presentations by ten teams, each meticulously prepared and delivered with passion. The presentations were followed by intensive comments and questions from the judges, Dr. Fibry Jati Nugroho, M.Si., Kiki Kurniawati, S.Pd., and Tri Oktavia Mandasari, S.S., who provided valuable feedback and insights. The atmosphere was charged with intellectual curiosity and rigorous debate, reflecting the high caliber of research being showcased.
After careful deliberation by the esteemed panel of judges, the winners of ISMaC 2024 were announced:
● 1st Place: The Impact of Law on the Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology by Arya Nugraha
● 2nd Place: Legal Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Due to Technological Developments by Shania Rivane Ramadhani
● 3rd Place: The Influence of Digital Marketing on Empowering MSMEs by Mediating Product Innovation in Purwakarta Regency by Jajat Lesmana, Salwa Meilia Sukarya, Sevty Aulia Tresna Putri Irawan, and Wulan Nuraeni
The winners received their certificates in a virtual ceremony, marking the end of a successful and inspiring event. The ISMaC 2024 concluded with a closing session that left participants with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for future events.
